Wired A/C Powerline Units - Utilizing a not-so-new technology but found tested and working well where standard Wireless units fail to work or cabling between floors are not cost effective. Semi-wireless units that transmit and recieve ethernet signals through your standard 110v A/C electric lines. Works on a similar principle to your old home baby monitors and intercoms but safer and more secure.

*Be Aware: Some building structures are not advisable for wireless networking. Electical interference, steel beams, and distance from transmitter to receiver degragate the quality of the signal. Sometimes it's a trial and error situation.
